I have always had a fascination in Human Kinetics so I enrolled in Kinesiology and started my journey as a Personal Trainer. Throughout my own fitness journey, I came an IFBB Pro in Women’s Physique which is a massive accomplishment in the industry! Fitness has been a huge part of my life and helped me through health struggles both physical and mentally. Through my continuous education and experience, I have helped numerous clients lower their body fat %, increase their overall endurance and increase their strength while building lean muscle. Sports and activity have always been a part of my life. I have personally tried a wide range of programs, styles and sports to continue challenging myself through my fitness journey. Through lots of education, researching and trial and error, I have increased my overall knowledge and understanding of the human body and how to address specific needs. I believe that fitness should be fun, but also challenging and effective! I have over 20 years of hands on experience training in a variety of different styles from: calisthenics, to powerlifting, to bodybuilding, to martial arts, and from athletes to clients who are just starting their fitness journey. My experience is based in performance development to improve all areas of the body such as foundational strength and conditioning, in conjunction with injury prevention and management. With my degree and experience, I empower people through movement of their body by achieving confidence and competence in any physical endeavour people pursue. This is achieved through corrective exercises, and progressive fundamental movement principles for efficiency and performance. Movement is a gift that everyone has, but needs to be unlocked. The sense of durability and confidence that comes with expressing your body through movement is the best thing anyone can do physically and mentally.

Bio:

I started out as a motocross racer, then trails, ice racing and hare scrambles in the late 90s and early 00’s. I eventually went on to teach trail riding in the Ganaraska Forest in South Eastern Ontario. Teaching riding was something I always enjoyed doing with all ages and really started my love for training people. When I moved out west, my passion for working out increased. This led me to start competing and to start chasing my IFBB Pro Card in the women’s physique division. After 5 years of training in a local gym, the fitness manager recognized my work ethic and dedication towards fitness and asked me if I wanted a job as a trainer, I accepted. I love to help my clients set goals and actually achieve them. I enjoy learning about my clients and creating a bond with them as not only their trainer but their friend. I find that this connection is what makes me the best trainer that I can be!
